04 - 2 tbsp chopped pistachios

03 - Melt dark chocolate with coconut oil in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
04 - Line a tray with parchment paper.
05 - Holding each skewer, dip strawberries partially or fully into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
06 - Place skewers on tray and immediately sprinkle with chopped pistachios or shredded coconut if desired.

08 - Refrigerate skewers for 15 minutes or until chocolate is firm; serve chilled or at room temperature.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • They look like you spent hours on them, but you'll be done in twenty minutes flat.
  • Fresh fruit and chocolate is always a win, whether you're eating them alone at midnight or serving them at a dinner party.
  • You can customize the toppings based on whatever's in your pantry, so they feel personal every time.
02 -
  • Wet strawberries are the enemy—the chocolate won't stick, and you'll end up with a mess instead of elegance.
  • Chocolate seizes if it touches even a tiny drop of water, so keep your bowls and tools completely dry while melting.
03 -
  • Keep the melted chocolate at the right temperature—too hot and it's thin and runny; too cool and it gets thick and lumpy. Aim for warm to the touch but not hot.
  • If your chocolate does seize or turn grainy, don't throw it out—whisk in a tiny bit more oil or even melted coconut oil and it'll smooth right back out.
